Stuffed Pork Chops on the Treager!

We (I bought for Rod) a Treager Grill. It is a smoker grill that uses wood pellets.  In case you do not have a smoker grill, this recipe can be done in the oven as well.

I made my own stuffing after I read the ingredients on the  boxed type stuffing mixes!  Stuff --- you really don't want to eat.  Just make a basic bread stuffing that you like in a smaller version.  Kind of like you would make for Thanksgiving.  Mine was bread crumbs, chicken broth, celery, onion, and sausage.

Buy the thick cut pork chops.  Cut a pocket in the side of each chop and fill with the stuffing.

Rub the outside and both sides with your favorite seasoning or rub. Place in a foil lined baking dish.

Now on to the Treager grill.  Heated to 325 degrees.  Should cook for 45 - 50 minutes.  Check the times on your grill.

Well, time is up and it is time for dinner. Brown and wild rice and steamed green beans.

Enjoy friends!
